I can’t describe my experience yet because I’ve not been there yet. I hear it’s a good place to help you with the withdrawals and my addiction is opioids. Was wondering if this is a good place for withdrawal and learning about my addiction
Staff is amazing! They really care about people and helping them get better!
I liked the detox i went through. Without them closely monitering me and giving me the detox meds i would have never got through the withdrawal on my own! Its not hard to get in..pretty easy process n you dont have to wait long to get in after your phone screen..usually the next day they call for a check in date. The food was ok not as good as i expected..definetly was like hospital food and so it messed my stomach up bad! Also when you go out to smoke all you hear people talking about is drugs and its a trigger for most so i got upset about that and there is too much drama because its an all women facility..usually around 45 women there at once. The beds are super uncomfortable.feel like a jail mat! The staff is amazing ..they will go out there way to help you. If you choose to go here you really have to stay focused on your own business and sobriety . overall its a good place to go if you need help with any addiction issues or withdrawal. I walked in the door .feeling like death n walked out smiling and feeling good n loving life and ready to start over again because of wat i learned during my stay and hearing others stories! Big wake up call n reality check.
The Next Door is our neighbor on Clifton Avenue - and what a great "next door" neighbor they are! Nashville, and Tennessee in general, is lucky to have such a great organization that aids and supports women in crisis - offering ample addiction, recovery and re-entry services to those in their program. A distinguishing factor for TND and what is most impressive to us is their high success rate of getting women successfully through their program & back on their feet. Thank you TND for being such a wonderful neighbor and for providing such a great service in our community.
My daughter said it was a great place but food sucked and there lobby didn't have bowels and utinsals to eat with like the pic and have no organization with schedule or won't know where to go couldn't get snacks because never knew where or when to get them had to stay up late to get meds time u got to sleep u already had to get up and the schedule they do give u . you got to ask what room all the time, or follow someone u don't want or need to never a set thing stuff always changing when your going threw a transition it can be to much change can mess with some one in diff ways and stuff person needs to know first day you find out three days later at orientation so everyone great place if u just want to be thrown in and be more confused and aggravated and want to hit door after second day but hang in there she did and she's grateful and glad she did. Then when she was in there she was always worried about if insurance was goin to pay for a few more days and then stress u at when your try in to get help. Then your wanting sweets because of the drugs even this I can't get ant like candy unless u have someone send u some or one of workers give it I but messed up part is I see people from six month program have it and then they can get in trouble if they give it to you really I am there for help not a new mom or mail if we want a soda or candy we are adults that messed up with drugs not a murder we should be able to eat what ever they take us to store to get cigs he'll we can't even by a soda or candy then again we are adults not your kids and the visatation he'll I have to listen to them talk be you can talk to your love one that is our time to admend are self with are family YOU have your family time day this is ours leave us alone.
This was the best experience I've had. The staff are amazing and always they to help. I love the fact that the program is faith based. It helped me become the women I was meet to be. The thing is you have to be willing, open minded, and honest to even receive the information needed. If you don't want it you won't get it. If nothing changes nothing changes. It's the best thing that has happened and I would not change it for nothing. I would suggest this program to anyone ready for a new life. THIS IS THE BEST PROGRAM! !!!!!!
